The laboratories of Merys have thrown out some funny creations over the years – here is one of them. The Fearsome Gurgle was a monster, possibly of squirrel origin, but now so mutated it is hard to tell what it was. In some areas it was green and slimy, in others furry and black. Massive fangs protruded from its back and many arms stuck out from these fangs. The Fearsome Gurgle was a terrifying sight for man and rabid squirrel alike. We avoided it.
     Jakra was the beast’s trainer. She bullied it since birth and turned it into a fearsome killing machine. Jakra was a large squirrel; also the only rabid squirrel brave (or insane) enough to go near this monster. In battle she stood behind it with a whip, urging it forwards.
