Nutter and Tuffty were the sons of King Fuzzball the Almighty and Acorn Flufftail. The brothers were identical twins and both inherited their father's size and strength, being much bigger and stronger than the average squirrel. Unfortunately they also inherited Fuzzball's preference for brawn over brain. King Fuzzball believed them to be perfect, and Nutter and Tuffty oft went on killing sprees to stay in their father's good books. When not killing, Nutter and Tuffty took part in squirrel athletics.
