Before becoming rabid, Wonky Branch was a cute little squirrel called Polly. Unfortunately she was captured by Mutator Merys, the rabid squirrel doctor, who was interested in experimenting with her. After injecting Polly with rabies the doctor used a pump to suck out all of Polly's blood. The empty veins were then filled with lemon curd. Unsurprisingly, when Polly came to she was a changed squirrel and insisted she must now be known as Wonky Branch. Miraculously, the lemon curd had granted Wonky Branch the ability to accurately predict the future. King Fuzzball kept this squirrel as a source of information, although frequently when she was needed Wonky was found to have wandered off in a trance.
